SEASON OF A LIFETIME (dir. Rick A. Cohen, 110 min, 2011, U.S.A.)

The truly amazing story of Head Football Coach Jeremy Williams in Greenville, Georgia, stricken with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), refusing to let his terminal illness stop him from living. The cameras follow Coach Williams through his final season as he battles his debilitating disease in the Georgia heat along with the tough Region 4 football schedule. A father figure to most of his underprivileged players, Coach is also raising his own son stricken with Spina Bifida. The football team unites this small southern town once divided and blends them into bleeding Patriot Red and Blue. Follow the Patriots through all their adversity as they strive to make it truly a 'Season of a Lifetime.'

6:30pm: doors open for a pre-screening "tailgate reception," co-hosted by Pig-n-Chik and The ALS Association.

8:00pm: screening begins

Following the film: Q&A with Rick Cohen, Coach Williams and special guests!
